About the Team: Antibody Team

The Antibody Team focuses on the engineering and development of high-quality, specific antibodies. Core activities include antibody design, purification, conjugation, and rigorous testing across various immuno-applications using advanced tools and technologies. The team's mission is to develop advanced products and provide detailed product-specific information to support research needs.


Role and Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Scientist I, you will play an integral role in the antibody development team. You will focus on delivering high-performance antibodies with superior specificity using cutting-edge molecular, protein, and cell biology methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program goals.

  • Maintain detailed and timely records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in antibody development through literature mining.

  • Compile, analyze, and present data in written and oral formats; actively participate in team meetings.

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and adherence to project timelines and schedules.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Levels

  • Master’s Degree with 0–3 years of experience OR a recent PhD (within the last year) in molecular biology, biotechnology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related life sciences field.

Technical Expertise

  • Molecular Biology: Proficiency in PCR, primer and vector design, cloning, and DNA/RNA extraction and analysis.

  • Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS): Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation, sequencer operation, and bioinformatic data analysis. Knowledge of programming languages (Python or R) is advantageous. Experience in antibody sequencing is highly desirable.

  • Immunoassays: Familiarity with ELISAs, Western Blotting, Immunocytochemistry, and/or Immunohistochemistry.

  • Antibody Development: Theoretical or practical knowledge of antibody development platforms is a plus.

General Skills

  • Experience in related projects or publications showcasing relevant skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and statistical tools (e.g., Prism).

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, coupled with self-motivation and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
