About the Team

The Research and Development team specializing in cell culture plays a critical role in delivering high-quality biological samples to internal customers. The team works extensively with primary cells, immortalized cell lines, and stem cells, focusing on ensuring superior sample quality and process reliability.


Role and Responsibilities

Role Overview

You will be a vital member of the antibody development team, leveraging cell culture expertise to enhance workflow validation, reagent quality, and consumable reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cell Line Management: Perform aseptic expansion, maintenance, and cryopreservation of mammalian cancer cell lines and primary cells.

  • Assay Preparation: Conduct pharmacological stimulation/inhibition, lysate preparation, and buffer/medium formulation for western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, and related tests.

  • Monitoring and Documentation: Ensure the daily monitoring of cell health and maintain accurate records in data sheets and/or electronic notebooks.

  • Data Integrity: Uphold rigorous standards for data accuracy and integrity.

  • Technical Writing: Plan and complete experiments with precision, followed by thorough documentation and technical reporting.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Levels

  • Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or a related field.

  • 0–3 years of research experience in academia or industry.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Core Expertise: Clear understanding of cell biology, protein biology, and molecular biology principles.

  • Advanced Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools and statistical software such as Prism.

  • Stem Cell Experience: Knowledge of stem cell techniques is an added advantage.

  • Certifications: GLP, GMP, or EHS certification is desirable.

  • Scientific Writing: Strong writing skills, preferably demonstrated through publications in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Soft Skills: Must be a team player, adaptable, eager to learn, and possess entrepreneurial thinking.
