Team Overview:

Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal global Sanofi unit designed to centralize processes and support functions such as:

  • Specialty Care

  • Vaccines

  • General Medicines

  • Consumer Healthcare (CHC)

  • Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO)

  • R&D, Data & Digital

SBO partners strategically with Medical, HEVA, and Commercial teams across Sanofi.


Main Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Provide end-to-end project management for publication and medical education deliverables.

  • Initiate/amend submissions, track progress, manage risks/issues, and follow up.

  • Ensure compliance and approvals via tools like iEnvision, PromoMats, DAM.

  • Manage assigned publication budgets and external spend tracking (e.g., POs, GRs).

  • Coordinate with global/local scientific communication and medical content teams.

Performance & Quality:

  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of materials like slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts.

  • Support development of tools and processes to boost productivity and maintain high scientific standards.

Process & Compliance:

  • Support resourcing, efficiency, and quality in project execution.

  • Maintain compliance with internal processes, risk controls, and regulatory standards.

People Management & Collaboration:

  • Build relationships with the medical/scientific community and internal business units.

  • Lead and develop SBO operations associates.

  • Encourage adoption of new technologies to streamline operations.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in:

    • Project management

    • Medical/scientific writing

    • Pharmaceutical communication

Education:

  • University degree in science or a related field.

  • Advanced/Postgraduate degree (Life Sciences/Pharmacy) preferred.

Skills:

  • Soft skills: Strong stakeholder management, communication, teamwork, and independence.

  • Technical: Experience in publication submission, scientific communications, and project oversight in the pharma domain.

Languages:

  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
