About the Team:

Sanofi Business Operations (BO) is an internal resource organization aimed at centralizing activities across:

  • Specialty Care

  • Vaccines

  • General Medicines

  • Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO)

  • R&D, Data & Digital

The BO team partners with global Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations to deliver strategic and operational support across functions.


Main Responsibilities:

1. Scientific Engagement:

  • Develop and support scientific expert engagement strategies, scientific congresses/events, medical education, and multichannel engagement plans.

  • Drive innovation in medical engagement using new digital channels and technologies.

  • Conduct expert mapping for KOL identification and segmentation; collaborate with global/local teams for harmonization.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, KOLs, scientific societies, patient advocacy groups, and agencies.

  • Attend advisory boards, outreach meetings, congresses to extract scientific insights.

  • Manage logistics and compliance for events, donations, advisory boards, and congresses.

2. Scientific Publications & Medical Communications:

  • Support strategic publication planning and content delivery for medical communication platforms.

  • Ensure development of high-quality medical content including:

    • Manuscripts, abstracts, posters, oral presentations

    • Symposia, booth materials, webinars

    • Training materials, congress reports, scientific platforms

    • Infographics, videos, podcasts (PLS), digital enhancements

  • Oversee project management and timeline tracking for publication activities.

  • Collaborate with internal/external writers, ensure compliance with tools (iEnvision, PromoMats, DAM).

  • Analyze content usage to refine and evolve content strategies.

3. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Integrate customer insights into strategy.

  • Innovate and adopt new content formats based on industry trends.

  • Ensure alignment with SOPs and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategies and avoid redundancy.

  • Support budget management and vendor coordination as needed.


Operational Dimensions:

People:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including medical affairs, regulatory, marketing, etc.

  • Guide and mentor scientific writers.

  • Engage health professionals and internal teams on content development.

Performance:

  • Deliver high-quality educational and communication materials aligned with strategy.

  • Provide strategic input and foster relationships with content development partners.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance and transparency policies.

Process:

  • Contribute to strategic and operational communication plans.

  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned therapeutic areas.

  • Guide vendors, design action plans based on feedback, and improve training delivery.

Stakeholders:

  • Partner with global/local medical teams to identify needs and customize deliverables.

  • Collaborate with global/local medical departments on project execution.


About You:

Experience:

  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry

  • Strong background in scientific publications and medical communications

  • Experience across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases

Soft Skills:

  • Strategic and critical thinking

  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and communication skills

  • Stakeholder engagement and KOL interaction

  • Team leadership and collaboration within matrix environments

  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth therapeutic area knowledge

  • Understanding of clinical trials, real-world evidence, statistics

  • Familiarity with GPP3, ICMJE, Pharma Code, Sunshine Act

  • Experience with tools like iEnvision, PromoMats, DAM, CRM

  • Digital-savvy with content innovation mindset

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field

  • CMPP (Certified Medical Publication Professional) certification desirable

Languages:

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
