About the Role:

As a Sales Representative, you will be the key driver of customer interactions, building and nurturing long-term relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and stakeholders. You will use your expertise and insights to drive sales, promote Novartis’ products, and ultimately improve the patient journey. Your role will be integral in ensuring that customer needs are met through value-based, personalized engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Competitive Sales Growth:

  • Identify and prioritize high-potential customers (HCPs and stakeholders) based on data analysis and market insights.
  • Engage and build relationships with HCPs by conducting value-based conversations to understand their needs, challenges, and decision-making drivers.
  • Personalize customer engagement journeys, tailoring communication and interactions to reflect the preferences and needs of target HCPs.
  • Foster long-term collaborations with HCPs, building trust and ensuring sustained engagement with Novartis over time.
  • Develop strong relationships with opinion leaders and medical influencers to challenge current practices and enhance the patient journey.

Develop Deep Customer Insights and Understanding:

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify key business needs, uncover opportunities, and develop solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Continuously prioritize customer interaction plans based on evolving needs, leveraging available data sources and insights.
  • Share valuable customer insights with internal teams to refine content, campaigns, and interaction strategies for ongoing engagement.

Deliver Value to Customers and Patients:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tailored solutions that address unmet customer and patient needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, listening to their needs and providing ethical, transparent solutions that add value.
  • Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all customer interactions, adhering to Novartis’ Code of Ethics and ensuring compliance in all aspects of your work.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Established Network within the target customer group is desirable.
  • Experience in cross-functional coordination and understanding the dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Market Knowledge and Network within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in pre-launch activities and sales within healthcare, pharma, or related businesses.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer-centric engagement.
