Job Title: Safety Data Processor

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Bangalore, India


Job Responsibilities:

As a Safety Data Processor, you will review, assess, and process safety data and information across service lines from various sources. You will distribute reports and data to both internal and external parties in compliance with applicable regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines, under the guidance of senior operations team members.

Essential Functions:

  • Prioritize and complete assigned training on time.
  • Process safety data according to relevant regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
  • Conduct pharmacovigilance activities as needed, including:
    • Collecting and tracking incoming Adverse Events (AEs) and endpoint information.
    • Determining initial and updated status of incoming events.
    • Entering data into databases.
    • Coding AEs and products, writing narratives, and performing literature-related activities.
  • Assume other workflow responsibilities for the assigned project as directed by the operations team member or manager.
  • Meet expected productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify quality issues and report them to a senior team member or mentor.
  • Attend project team meetings and provide feedback to the operations manager on challenges, issues, or successes.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent in a scientific or healthcare discipline; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a commitment to achieving team goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills across safety service lines.
  • Demonstrate IQVIA core values in daily tasks.

  • Extensive keyboard use requiring repetitive motion.
  • Frequent telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate speech perception.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
