Job Responsibilities:

Shift Timing: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM. Work in Night shifts (to support US and CANADA regions) if required by the project.

Description:

In this Medical Information (MI) role at IQVIA, you will utilize your scientific background and language expertise to handle medical inquiries, adverse events, and product quality complaints. You will provide phone support to healthcare professionals and patients, documenting and processing incoming calls, faxes, or emails from various sources including investigative sites. Additionally, you may need to lead, provide oversight, and act as a subject matter expert/trainer in each therapeutic area depending on your experience level.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and patients, including receipt and tracking of medical inquiries, adverse events, and product quality complaints.
  • Document adverse events/product complaints/medical inquiries as per the call/email type in structured forms and share with the Safety team for further processing.
  • Use medical knowledge while determining off-label uses and other adverse events.
  • Establish and maintain effective team communications, providing regular feedback to local management on project metrics and challenges/issues.
  • Depending on experience, provide leadership training and mentoring for less experienced team members and assist managers with resource allocation.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment with other Lifecycle safety team members.
  • Work in night shifts to support US and Canada regions if required by the project (shift timing: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM and 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM during daylight savings time).
  • Participate in training sessions across Lifecycle safety service offerings and contribute to the implementation of new initiatives and process efficiencies.
