Location: Kochi (Office-based)

Job Overview: As a Safety Data Processor at IQVIA, you will review, assess, and process safety data and information from various sources, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines. You will be responsible for distributing reports/data to internal and external third parties, under the guidance of senior team members.

Essential Functions:

  • Prioritize and complete assigned training on time.
  • Process safety data according to regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
  • Perform Pharmacovigilance activities including:
    • Collecting and tracking incoming Adverse Events (AEs) and endpoint information.
    • Determining the initial/update status of incoming events.
    • Database entry and coding of AEs and products.
    • Writing narratives and performing literature-related activities.
    • Assuming other workflow responsibilities as directed by the Operations team or Manager.
  • Meet expected productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify and report quality issues to senior team members or mentors.
  • Attend project team meetings and provide feedback on challenges, issues, or successes to the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduates with PharmD, MPharm, or BPharm degrees only.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player and contribute to team goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to follow instructions, use initiative, and work independently.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills across Safety service lines.
  • Demonstration of IQVIA core values in daily tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extensive use of keyboard and telephone, with repetitive motion of fingers and accurate perception of speech.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods.
  • May require occasional travel.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
