Job Overview:

Join IQVIA’s Safety Operations team, a global leader in supporting pharmaceutical companies to enhance product safety post-market. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will provide direct support to healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical products across various therapeutic areas like Respiratory, Infectious Diseases, Immunology, HIV, and Oncology.

You will be at the forefront of Patient Safety, working in a collaborative, nurturing environment with opportunities for growth, training, and career progression.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Safety Support:

    • Provide phone, email, and fax support to healthcare professionals and patients.

    • Address and document medical inquiries, adverse events, product quality complaints, and other related calls.

  • Lifecycle Safety Communication:

    • Maintain effective team communications by providing feedback to local management on project metrics and challenges.

  • Team Collaboration and Training:

    • Foster a collaborative environment among Lifecycle Safety team members.

    • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline.

  • Languages:

    • Fluency in German (native/C2) and English (minimum C1).

    • Proficiency in Italian or French (minimum C1).

  • Experience:

    • Experience in Lifecycle Safety (Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, Risk Management, etc.) is a strong advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and life sciences knowledge.

    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

    • Attention to detail with consistently high-quality standards.

    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and client engagement.
