Job Description:

Fortrea, a leading global Clinical Research Organization, is seeking a Research Technician to support its Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team in initiating early-phase clinical trials with efficiency and precision.

This is a full-time, rotating shifts, office-based position located in Dallas, TX.


What You Will Do:

You will apply clinical skills and judgment to deliver exceptional care to trial participants and respond to emergencies in alignment with clinical research standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and record vital signs: blood pressure, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature

  • Prepare and record ECGs/Holters

  • Collect and process biological samples per protocol and ensure proper distribution

  • Monitor dietary compliance

  • Prepare rooms and medical equipment

  • Assist with participant screening procedures

  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

    Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

  • Preferred Certifications:

    • EMT

    • Phlebotomy

    • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant)

    • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

  • Experience:

    • 0–1 year of clinical research experience

    • Prior clinical experience preferred but not required

    • Recent graduates encouraged to apply

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where protocol adherence is critical

  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable using technology-based systems for data entry
