    • Set up and execute reactions to synthesize molecules/compounds as per client requirements.
    • Understand and implement the appropriate synthetic routes for the molecules to be synthesized.
    • Ensure the use of proper reagents, equipment, and specified conditions (temperature, pressure) while minimizing waste.
    • Carry out parallel reactions to meet project timelines.
  • Safety and Risk Mitigation:

    • Understand and discuss Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) with team members to mitigate safety risks.
    • Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals.
    • Enforce good laboratory practices, maintain equipment as per SOPs, and ensure good housekeeping.
  • Monitoring and Workup:

    • Monitor reaction progress using analytical techniques.
    • Identify and apply appropriate workup and purification techniques to obtain intermediates and final compounds of desired quality.
    • Analyze analytical data and interpret results to ensure quality control and process optimization.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and detailed lab notebooks documenting reactions, research findings, and observations as per client requirements.
    • Ensure data integrity, IP confidentiality, and adhere to related policies.
    • Prepare and submit final reports as required by the project manager.
  • Productivity and Project Management:

    • Meet productivity benchmarks related to the number of reactions, compounds synthesized, quality, and project timelines.
    • Contribute to cost-benefit analysis and ensure optimal usage of resources.
  • Team Development:

    • Improve team knowledge in organic chemistry and analytical techniques through one-on-one discussions, training sessions, and further education programs.
    • Foster a positive work environment by guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:

    • MSc in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry with 1–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience:
