Job Description:

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Associate, Analytical Development III to join their team in Newark, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute technical analytical methodologies to support development and validation of test methods.

  • Author and review analytical methods, protocols, reports, and technical documents, including instrument qualification and change control.

  • Operate, maintain, and oversee installation of sophisticated analytical instruments and computer control systems.

  • Contribute to improving technical operations and project outcomes within Analytical Development.

  • Support laboratory operations: inventory tracking, reagent preparation, sample management, and documentation review.


Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Advanced degree in biological sciences (or related field) with 3+ years of industry experience; or

    • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (or related field) with 6+ years of progressive experience.

    • Outstanding academic achievements may substitute for some experience.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in analytical assay techniques: UV/VIS, Bradford, HPLC/UPLC, CE-SDS, ELISA, Western blot.

    • Familiarity with data interpretation for: AUC, LC, LC/MS, MFI, DLS, CD.

    • Experience developing and authoring: protocols, methods, SOPs.

    • Strong technical and strategic communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.
