    Position: Remote Wellness Director (Physician)

    Location: Remote (Dallas, TX preferred or within the US)

    Job Overview: We are seeking a Remote Wellness Director (Physician) to oversee and coordinate the medical aspects of our wellness and testing services. This role involves reviewing and implementing wellness protocols, conducting good faith exams, and ensuring adherence to healthcare policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and enhance medical and wellness services/protocols.
    • Plan and sign visit records for clients as required.
    • Collaborate with managers and program directors to develop and implement wellness programs.
    • Perform good faith exams to ensure client safety.
    • Place orders and approve supplies for wellness services.
    • Enforce healthcare policies and procedures within the medical scope of practice.

    Qualifications:

    • M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Family Medicine.
    • Current licensure from the Texas Medical Board in good standing.
    • License in state of residence and Texas (additional states are a plus).
    • Unrestricted eligibility for Medicare/Medicaid/Other third-party payers.
    • Experience in healthcare, with functional medicine experience being a plus.
    • Proven experience in implementing clinical practice guidelines, resource utilization, and cost management.
    • Experience supervising medical staff.
    • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as JCAHO and HIPAA.
    • Knowledgeable about the medical scope of practice.
    • Experience in remote roles or telehealth is preferred.

    Essential Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to use personal devices for scheduling and client registration.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Independent work capability and reliable, empathetic care.
    • Valid Driver’s License.

    Job Type: PRN, Contract

    Compensation: Up to $1000 monthly (monthly rates available with signed commitment)

    Expected Hours: As needed, flexible including evenings or weekends
