    Position: Remote Wellness Director (Physician)

    Location: Remote (Dallas, TX or within the US)

    About the Role:

    We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Remote Wellness Director (Physician) to join our team at Bio Wise Testing Solutions. In this role, you will oversee the medical aspects of our wellness and testing services, ensuring high standards of patient care and program effectiveness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and refine medical and wellness service protocols.
    • Plan and authorize visit records for clients as needed.
    • Collaborate with the manager and program director to develop and implement wellness programs.
    • Conduct good faith exams to ensure patient safety.
    • Place orders and approve supplies for wellness services operations.
    • Enforce healthcare policies and procedures within the scope of medical practice.

    Qualifications:

    • M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Family Medicine.
    • Current, good-standing licensure from the Texas Medical Board.
    • Licensed in the state of residence and Texas (additional states are a plus).
    • Unrestricted eligibility to participate in Medicare/Medicaid/Other third-party payer networks.
    • Previous healthcare experience (Functional Medicine experience is a plus), including implementing clinical practice guidelines and managing resources and costs with internal staff, contractors, and community partners.
    • Experience supervising medical staff.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as JCAHO and HIPAA.
    • Familiarity with the medical scope of practice.
    • Preferred experience in remote roles or telehealth.

    Essential Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in using personal devices for scheduling and handheld devices for client registration.
    • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Reliable, empathetic, and committed to providing quality care.
    • Valid Driver’s License.

    Job Type: PRN, Contract

    Pay: Up to $1,000 monthly (monthly rates available with a signed commitment)

    Expected Hours: As needed
