Position Title: Clinical Supply Chain Manager

Location: Boston, MA (local candidates preferred)

About the Job:

We are seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about our mission and eager to make a meaningful impact in patient communities. The Manager will oversee comprehensive drug supply activities for global clinical trials, including forecasting, planning, label development, packaging, labeling operations, and Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) distribution. The role involves representing the Clinical Supply Chain internally and collaborating with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Supply Management: Oversee supply chain activities for both ongoing and new trials, including demand forecasting, trial monitoring, resupply planning, label design, and Interactive Response Technology (IRT) setup.
  • Label Development & Production: Manage label development and production operations in collaboration with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
  • CRO Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) to optimize drug supply utilization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Clinical Operations, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC), and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliant and timely delivery of clinical supplies.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and address potential issues proactively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve lead-times, enhance speed to market, and reduce supply chain risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in clinical supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience coordinating with CMOs and CROs and managing global logistics.
  • Familiarity with Interactive Web Response Systems (IWRS) and systems is preferred.
  • Experience in clinical label design and execution is advantageous.
