Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Direct-to-Patient Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete study-specific requirements for assigned studies, including GCP training, IATA (dangerous goods) training, and other study-specific training.
  • Provide quality Direct-to-Patient (DTP) services at locations outside of the investigator site (e.g., home, office, school).
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and GoClinical Clinician Manager to apply clinical research and nursing practices to develop solutions for complex issues.
  • Complete source documentation during DTP visits, adhering to Good Documentation Practices, and submit documentation to the project team promptly.
  • Communicate any issues and patient safety concerns to the GCPM, GCPC, and investigator site as appropriate.
  • Physically perform nursing tasks and lift equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ensure reliable transportation for conducting DTP visits and transporting necessary supplies and equipment (e.g., centrifuge, ECG machine).

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Active, unencumbered RN licensure or certification in the US.
  • Multistate practice/licensure preferred where applicable.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of post-graduate nursing experience.
  • Clinical research experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient in English (both verbal and written).
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to schedule changes and travel with limited notice; willingness to work after hours or weekends preferred.
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office and Google applications; willingness to learn proprietary eSource software.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask; prioritizes based on protocol and visit parameters.
  • Prepared for specific visit requirements, equipped with additional supplies for troubleshooting.
