Job Title: Regional Medical Advisor

Position Summary

Novo Nordisk is looking for a Regional Medical Advisor to support and implement the medical affairs strategy for diabetes and obesity in assigned regions. The role focuses on scientific engagement, medical education, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance the company’s therapeutic footprint.


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the national medical strategy into actionable regional activities.

  • Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Provide training and education to physicians and HCPs on diabetes and obesity.

  • Offer medical support to the brand team and help align marketing strategies with scientific objectives.

  • Assist sales and marketing teams with strategic insights and market feedback.

  • Stay updated on scientific trends by attending medical meetings and capturing clinical insights.

  • Educate internal teams (field force, marketing) about disease areas and products to support promotional goals.

  • Promote Novo Nordisk’s portfolio through strong medical advocacy and scientific exchange.

  • Conduct local scientific interactions and activities to increase disease awareness and therapeutic understanding.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • MBBS/MD in Pharmacology from a recognized institution.

  • Alternatively, MDS/BDS with a minimum of 2 years of clinical work experience in related fields like:

    • Pharmacovigilance

    • Medical Affairs

    • Clinical Research

    • Medical Writing

  • Deep understanding of diabetes and obesity as therapeutic areas.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with internal and external partners.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

  • Capable of planning, executing, and following up on regional initiatives with operational excellence.
