Regional Medical Advisor

Job Description:

The Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) provides scientific and medical support to the EPD Medical organization in a non-sales capacity. This role involves significant field engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and institutions to ensure scientific credibility and therapy shaping.

The RMA reports to the Senior Manager RMA / Head RMA and collaborates closely with Medical Managers, Clinical Research Managers, and Medical Advisors. The role includes scientific communication, clinical study oversight, therapy shaping, and compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with local, global, and national laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, academic centers, and HCPs to provide medical and scientific information.

  • Design and execute scientific activities (e.g., symposiums, round tables, congresses) in collaboration with the Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.

  • Oversee and follow up on clinical studies and medical projects (e.g., registry studies, epidemiological surveys, post-authorization studies, IIS projects).

  • Deliver unbiased and accurate scientific presentations to physicians and groups.

  • Identify and engage qualified physicians for research collaborations, scientific events, and educational initiatives.
