Position Overview:

Parexel is currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Strategist for a temporary 6 to 12-month contract. In this fully remote, home-based position, you will be dedicated to a single sponsor, supporting the development and execution of study and programmatic recruitment strategies alongside the Patient Recruitment Specialist (PRS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather patient insights and manage protocol simulations for various patient recruitment projects.
  • Support Study Optimization Leadership on special projects.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations for the patient recruitment strategy team.
  • Work independently to deliver final analyses that inform clinical protocol inputs.
  • Serve as the study-level escalation point for issues and vendor requirements.
  • Lead and participate in global initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical research, with at least 5 years specifically focused on patient recruitment in provider, Contract Research Organization (CRO), or sponsor settings.
  • Strong knowledge of patient recruitment strategies and tactics, including direct-to-patient outreach, digital/mobile, traditional methods, Site Management Organizations (SMO), advocacy groups, and patient networks.
  • Proven experience in creating, tracking, and reporting metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Familiarity with collaborating with legal and privacy officers to ensure compliance in processes and systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a science-related field.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interactions with colleagues and external associates.
  • Well-developed planning, observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate issues effectively, proposing action plans or alternatives for resolution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and mediate conflicts.
