Position Overview:

The Quality-Medical Affairs Professional (Q-MAP) is a therapeutically aligned clinical scientist who plays a key role in the medical affairs organization by reviewing and ensuring the quality of both promotional and non-promotional content. As part of this role, the Q-MAP will contribute scientific and creative input to develop, review, and approve materials, and work closely with internal teams to meet customer and business needs. This is a strategic position requiring strong clinical and therapeutic expertise to support various medical and business initiatives.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Brand Team Support:

    • Serve as the key medical point of contact for the brand team, offering clinical and scientific expertise to support team initiatives.
    • Contribute to the development of local brand plans and medical strategies.
    • Support the development of local materials and review global/regional materials for promotional and non-promotional content.
    • Effectively communicate relevant scientific and medical information, ensuring alignment with therapeutic solutions and clinical landscapes.
    • Assist in internal training needs, supporting the medical education of business partners.
  • Scientific Expertise and Medical Affairs Delivery:

    • Assist with the data analysis, slide set development, and publication efforts, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
    • Collaborate with other medical affairs roles (e.g., Clinical Research Physicians, Medical Science Liaisons) to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
    • Provide scientific input in the development of both promotional and non-promotional materials.
    • Support Scientific Data Disclosure (SDD) and ensure compliance with scientific regulations.
    • Continuously review and stay up-to-date with medical literature and therapeutic developments relevant to the product portfolio.
    • Stay informed on current trends, clinical practices, and access issues in the therapeutic areas of focus.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree:

    • MD, PhD, or similar advanced degree in health sciences, with at least 2 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience.
    • OR
    • Master's or Bachelor's degree (e.g., MBBS, BDS, PharmD, MSc Nursing) in health sciences, with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience:

    • Relevant experience in the scientific/healthcare industry.
    • Ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, compliant content for customer communications.
  • Skills:

    • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
    • Strong project management abilities.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize complex deliverables.
    • Leadership capabilities and ability to influence across functions, including Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, and Payer.
    • Strong capability to partner with internal and external teams to drive results.

Additional Preferences:

  • The Q-MAP role is office-based or hybrid-based, depending on geographic location, and is not field-based.
