Quality Manager

Position Overview:

Labcorp is seeking a Quality Manager to join its Esoterix-Calabasas Hills, CA team. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality programs, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards within the assigned laboratory or region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Partner with laboratory leadership to set quality goals and objectives.
  • Ensure laboratories maintain federal, state, and local licensure and accreditations.
  • Guide laboratories in regulatory and accreditation compliance.
  • Conduct audits to identify quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop responses for accreditation, regulatory citations, and complaints.
  • Monitor outcomes of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Lead process improvement activities to enhance quality performance.
  • Prepare management reports on quality indicators, audits, and complaints.
  • Provide and ensure training on quality policies and procedures.
  • Maintain coordination and communication between laboratories on quality-related matters.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related science.
  • Minimum 5+ years in Quality Assurance or Quality Management.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a regulatory laboratory environment.
  • Experience in CLIA and CAP audits preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
