Job Description:

Randstad Life Sciences is seeking a Quality Control Reagent Lab Technician (Analyst, QC Critical Reagents) for a 1-year contract role. This position is responsible for maintaining the reagent program for commercial products across the global network. Key responsibilities include reagent preparation, inventory management, technical documentation, and distribution to the global testing network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, prepare, and aliquot critical reagents.
  • Coordinate qualification testing with laboratory personnel.
  • Execute critical reagent distributions for global testing networks.
  • Utilize LIMS to document reagent acquisition, preparation, and testing status.
  • Maintain critical reagent inventory and participate in supply forecasting.
  • Generate and analyze critical reagent trend graphs for stability and performance monitoring.
  • Author and review technical documentation (e.g., qualification protocols, reports, expiry extensions).
  • Perform data verification of technical documents.
  • Participate in process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
  • Attend team meetings and huddles as required.

Required Skills:

  • 0-3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Strong documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work with quality service focus, flexibility, and extended hours if needed.
  • Experience in reagent preparation, technical documentation, and data analysis.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Understanding of QC principles and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with 21CFR, USP, EP, and ICH regulations.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, OR
  • Associate’s degree with additional relevant experience.
