Your Role: Director of Quality Assurance

As the Director of Quality Assurance, you will shape and oversee Springbrook Software's quality assurance strategy. Working in a complex environment with multiple products and globally distributed teams, you will drive quality maturity and spearhead initiatives to enhance automation and testing practices. This role is a unique opportunity to lead a transformative quality program and make a significant organizational impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Program Leadership:

    • Own and lead the organization-wide quality assurance program.
    • Define and implement standard quality metrics across all products.
    • Act as an advocate for quality best practices and automated testing adoption.
  • Collaboration and Oversight:

    • Partner with Product, Support, and Services teams to identify and address quality challenges.
    • Lead US and international quality teams, ensuring test execution aligns with functional and design requirements.
  • Strategic Development:

    • Define policies and procedures for QA and document them effectively.
    • Drive the automation testing strategy within Agile environments.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align QA initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Create a culture of accountability that learns from challenges and drives future improvements.
    • Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes quality across all teams.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience:

    • 7+ years as a QA Manager or Director for enterprise applications.
    • 10+ years in software quality assurance, with expertise in managing remote teams globally.
    • Proven success in advancing automation testing and optimizing quality programs.
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive problem-solving abilities with a track record of effective collaboration across departments (e.g., Product, Development, UX).
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and drive cross-functional teams.
  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred

  • Experience with financial or online payment enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud providers like Azure or AWS.
