Job Summary:

We are seeking a QA Report Reviewer - Level 1 to join our team. In this remote position, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing medical-legal reports, ensuring accuracy in both content and format. This will include fact-checking medical histories, correcting formatting errors, and ensuring that dates and medical facts align with source records. The role requires interacting with physicians, clients, and your report quality assurance supervisor, primarily via phone and email. Deadlines are crucial as many reports are time-sensitive, and you will be entrusted to manage and prioritize tasks accordingly.

After completing training, you will receive assigned reports with deadlines and priorities, and will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. This position offers opportunities for growth, promotions, and performance-based bonuses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review & Edit Reports: Edit medical-legal reports for accuracy, format, and clarity, ensuring correct biographical data and proper citation of medical facts and dates.
  • Fact-Check: Verify medical facts against source records and ensure consistency across all documents.
  • Document Summaries: Write medical history summaries based on available medical records.
  • Client & Physician Interaction: Communicate with physicians, clients, and supervisors to ensure clarity and accuracy in reports.
  • Time Management: Work within strict deadlines to ensure reports are completed on time, prioritizing tasks as necessary.
  • Training & Growth: Complete initial in-office training and subsequent remote work once competency is demonstrated.
  • Additional Tasks: Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (English, Sciences/Healthcare, Pre-Law, or similar).
    • Paralegal background encouraged.
    • Strong academic performance from new college grads will also be considered.
  • Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in a relevant role preferred (e.g., medical, legal, or insurance fields).
    • Experience in medical, legal, or insurance industries is a plus (e.g., nursing, pre-med, research roles, hospital scribe programs, insurance claims management).
    • New graduates with relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent writing, editing, and attention to detail.
    • Strong research skills, particularly in medical records and reference materials.
    • Comfortable with common office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDFs) and cloud-based resources.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
