About the Department:

Global Medical Affairs (GMA), Global Business Services (GBS), is a dynamic extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Denmark and Zurich, with a base in Bangalore, India. The team is composed of medical advisors, project managers, and publication managers who work closely with headquarters, regional offices, and affiliates globally. One of the core sub-units of GMA GBS is the Rare Disease Medical Affairs department, focusing on the communication of scientific and medical knowledge, external medical events, and publication planning within the Rare Diseases therapeutic area.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Publication Project Manager to join the Global Medical Affairs team in Bangalore. This exciting role involves managing global publication plans and budgets, ensuring timely execution of publication strategies, and collaborating with internal stakeholders, external healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other key partners. You will play an essential role in publication management, including logistics, manuscript tracking, and congress publication coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of publication plans.
  • Manage congress publication logistics and coordination.
  • Track manuscript progress on a monthly basis.
  • Handle IEnvision management for publication-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: PhD, Master of Science, or a Bachelor’s degree in a life science field or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in project management, specifically in publication management.
  • Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English.
