About the Position:

We are seeking a Publication Project Manager to join our Global Medical Affairs team at Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India. If you have a passion for scientific communication, project management, and publication development, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-changing work. You will be responsible for managing global publication plans, budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, medical writing, and external healthcare professionals (HCPs).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute global publication plans for medical affairs.
  • Oversee congress publication management, including logistics and tracking of manuscripts.
  • Maintain IEnvision management for publication-related processes.
  • Ensure publication budgets are properly tracked and managed.
  • Collaborate closely with medical affairs colleagues, the medical writing team, affiliate offices, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: PhD, Master of Science, or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or similar field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of project management experience.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Prior experience in publication management and stakeholder management.

About the Department:

Global Medical Affairs, GBS (GMA-GBS) is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs unit in Denmark and Zurich, based out of Global Business Services (GBS) in Bangalore, India. The department is composed of medical advisors, project managers, and publication managers who work together with global teams, regions, and affiliates. One of the core functions of the team is supporting the Rare Disease Medical Affairs department in communication, content development, project management, and publication planning within the Rare Diseases therapy area.
