Job Title: Patient Recruitment Lead

Location: Medpace Office, Cincinnati, OH (Relocation Bonus Available)

Role Summary:

Are you an experienced professional with hands-on expertise in patient recruitment and retention within the clinical research and health communications field? Medpace is seeking a Patient Recruitment Lead to project manage and strategize patient recruitment and retention for assigned trials. This role requires a proactive approach to managing recruitment strategies, leveraging innovative technologies, and building strong relationships with sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and oversee comprehensive and aggressive recruitment and retention strategies for clinical trials.
  • Site Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with sites through our global site partnership program.
  • Adaptability: Adjust recruitment strategies in response to changing study conditions and collaborate with specialized vendors.
  • Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and apply this knowledge to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Technology Integration: Work with internal and external teams to evaluate and integrate innovative technologies to improve patient acquisition.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate recruitment strategies and updates to executive management, senior leadership, and team members.
  • Team Management: Conduct performance reviews, calibration sessions, and feedback discussions for direct reports. Implement and monitor development plans.
  • Vendor Management: Participate in and manage vendor RFPs, assist with selecting the best vendor solutions for projects.
  • Feedback Utilization: Collect and analyze project-specific and aggregate feedback to continuously improve recruitment and retention strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of clinical research industry experience, with at least 2 years focused on patient recruitment or related clinical/project management experience.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective patient recruitment strategies.
  • Media Coordination: Experience with online ad placements, advocacy outreach, and traditional media.
