Job Description:
A Day in the Life:
As a Project Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of assigned projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with resource estimates and managing the financial aspects of projects.
  • Collaborating with team members to monitor financial performance, reviewing budgets versus actual resourcing needs to prevent overspending.
  • Analyzing contract and bidding assumptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Performing monthly analysis of budget versus actual data.
  • Supporting project teams in identifying risks, understanding reasons for unsupported hours, and participating in risk meetings as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of effectively handling data.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong digital literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office for data analysis and presentation.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and their application.
  • Ability to focus on individual projects while managing similar aspects across multiple projects.
  • Capable of working independently and providing mentorship in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
