The Position:
We are seeking a Production and Lab Support professional to join our Oligo Department at Roche in Branchburg, New Jersey. In this role, you will support production and lab testing operations, ensuring high-quality processes and adherence to safety standards. You will work in an aseptic environment, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow all established procedures and safety regulations. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and the commitment to maintaining cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support production and lab testing duties.
  • Follow departmental work instructions, SOPs, OSHA safety regulations, and cGMPs to complete tasks.
  • Monitor lab supply inventory and generate purchase requisitions when necessary.
  • Input production data into SAP / LIMS and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Handle hazardous materials as needed and ensure proper safety measures.
  • Maintain departmental stock rooms, keep labs stocked, and prepare buffers.
  • Perform manufacturing activities, including bulk formulation, filling, sub-assembly, and sample testing.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Participate in required training and on-the-job learning.
  • Manage schedules, workload, and priorities based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate on experimental designs with supervisors, assist in writing protocols, investigations, and reports.
  • Provide input for improving laboratory procedures and assist with the development of new processes and equipment.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Associates Degree
  • 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience

Skills:

  • Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
