This role is available as a remote or hybrid position, aligned with our Harrogate, North Yorkshire site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor less-experienced statisticians.
  • Serve as Statistics Lead for large global or major projects.
  • Perform quality control (QC) of work done by team members.
  • Provide training and development for junior staff.
  • Develop statistical methodologies for study data analysis.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and contribute to decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Experience: Around 5 years of experience in statistical data analysis using SAS, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements (preferred).
    • Experience or aspiration to manage a team.
