About the Job

Team Overview:
Sanofi Global Hub (SGH) is an internal resource hub located in India, supporting functions across Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, R&D, Data & Digital. SGH focuses on strategic and functional partnership for tactical delivery across Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations globally.


Main Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Strategy

  • Develop complex and specialized scientific content independently.

  • Manage end-to-end publication and medical education content development, including documentation and approvals in PromoMats/iEnvision.

  • Build therapeutic area, compliance, and process expertise.

  • Define and implement stakeholder engagement strategies.

  • Provide strategic input to Medical Communication plans.

  • Coach and review work of other scientific writers.

2. Collaboration & Coaching

  • Maintain strong relationships with the medical scientific community.

  • Interact with healthcare professionals on publication content.

  • Mentor and support the development of junior/senior writers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., technology, CE teams) to enable digital transformation.

  • Recommend improvements in scientific content and best practices.

3. Performance & Process Excellence

  • Deliver high-quality publication and medical education materials (e.g., slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts) on time.

  • Provide strategic publication support with external institutions.

  • Assist in comprehensive publication need analysis.

  • Execute the annual publication plan.

  • Work with vendors and manage processes efficiently.

  • Apply innovative training tools and improve content delivery based on feedback.

  • Support budget estimation and resource planning.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with regional scientific communication teams to identify publication needs.

  • Partner with medical departments to produce tailored deliverables.


About You

  • Experience: 10+ years in medical communication, with 4+ years in a leadership role preferred.

  • Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or similar; a Medical Degree is also acceptable.

  • Skills:

    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

    • Deep therapeutic area/domain expertise.

    • Experience with publication submission and project management.

  • Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English.
