Final pay will depend on factors including location, experience, skills, and other considerations. The total compensation package may include additional elements such as a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Role Requirements

  • AI Model Knowledge: Deep expertise in standard AI models such as Transformers, RNNs, and CNNs for NLP and other sequence data domains.
  • Large Language Models (LLMs): Extensive experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, use of embeddings, RAG, LangChain, and application architectures.
  • Emerging AI Uses: Experience with AI applications in biology and chemistry, utilizing models from NLP.
  • Knowledge Graphs & GNNs: Experience with knowledge graphs and Graph Neural Networks.
  • Programming Skills: Expert-level Python programming skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and enhance team performance.
  • Cloud Optimization: Knowledge of cloud computing for high-performance AI model training.
  • Ethics & Explainability: Understanding of AI model explainability, bias, and ethics.
  • Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in statistical methods for analyzing AI model results.
  • Education & Experience: Advanced degree (master’s or doctoral) in computer science or a closely related field, with a track record of leadership and publications in deep learning and applied AI research. At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end AI model development for large-scale datasets is required. Experience in the tech industry is highly relevant; experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare is a plus.
