Job Title: Laboratory Pre-Analytical Services Associate

Location: Raritan, NJ
Job Type: 3-Month Contract (Possibility of Extension or Conversion)
Schedule: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday
Pay Range: $20 - $22/hr

Job Responsibilities

  • Specimen Management: Monitoring, sorting, and storing of incoming specimens.
  • Data Entry: Including patient requisitions and double-checking for accuracy.
  • General Support: Assist in providing general support functions.
  • Inventory Management: Take inventory, order, and stock supply items as directed by supervisors for the pre-analytical department.
  • Patient Information Verification: Verify and enter patient demographics, patient consent, and insurance information with manual requisitions along with collected and received time/date information.
  • Order Processing: Order tests as per request.
  • Data Analysis: Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
  • Microsoft Office: Ability to work in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience.
