We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work at our Patient Service Center in Macomb Township, MI.

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. This position also offers continuous growth opportunities within the organization.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Every other Saturday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees (working less than 20 hours per week) are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites as needed

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
Previous experience as a phlebotomist required
Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if applicable)
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test
