Float Phlebotomist – Labcorp
Location: 14300 Orchard Pkwy., Westminster, CO 80023
Territory Coverage: Northern CO area including Westminster, Thornton, and surrounding areas

Position Overview:

Pay Range: $18.81 - $28.49 per hour
Float Incentive: Additional $1.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement
Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: Eligible phlebotomists may receive bonuses based on performance metrics.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours vary between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Occasional Saturday rotation
  • Overtime may be required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Accurately enter patient information into the system
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to patients
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
  • Travel to additional sites as needed

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
  • Previous phlebotomy experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if applicable)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
