    Job Opportunity: Entry Level Pharmacy Technician

    Position Title: Entry Level Pharmacy Technician

    Position Overview:

    • Review and Prior Authorization: Evaluate criteria for approval and accurately input Prior Authorizations into the claims system.
    • Clinical Communication: Provide clinical outcomes to members and physicians within specified timeframes.
    • Customer Interaction: Respond to calls and emails, conducting outreach to pharmacies and physician offices as needed.

    Training Overview:

    • Duration: 6 weeks paid training (Distance Learning)
    • Method: Interactive sessions via video and chat applications, including two weeks of audits with potential additional audit weeks.
    • Support: Guidance from trainers and senior staff; role requires self-motivation and initiative.

    Performance Metrics:

    • Measurement: Track progress and success through performance metrics.

    Compensation:

    • Pay: $18.00 per hour during training and transition to permanent role.
    • Job Start: Late August

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Essential: Quality internet service, private home office space, excellent computer skills (test required), quiet household environment during shifts.
    • Training Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday CST (training hours differ from working hours).
    • Working Hours: Assigned after training, may include weekends and overtime as needed.

    Technology Requirements:

    • Systems Used: Cover My Meds, RX Claims, BET Website, Right Fax, WebEx, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Equipment: Dual monitors setup, proficient in multitasking across various platforms.
