Position Title: Entry Level Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview:

  • Criteria Review: Evaluate requests to determine if they meet approval criteria.
  • Claims Entry: Accurately enter prior authorization requests into the claims system to ensure correct adjudication.
  • Clinical Outcomes: Communicate outcomes to members and their physicians within specified turnaround times.
  • Research & Communication: Respond to calls and emails, and perform outreach to pharmacies and physician’s offices to gather necessary information, including occasional member assistance.

Training Overview:

  • Duration: 6 weeks of paid training via distance learning.
  • Format: Interaction with instructors and peers through video and chat applications. Includes two weeks of audits, with the potential for up to two additional weeks if needed.
  • Support: Ongoing support from trainers and senior employees. Requires a self-motivated and driven individual.

Performance Metrics: Your progress and success will be tracked through performance metrics.

Pay: $18.00 per hour. This is a 6-month temporary position with the potential to become permanent.

Job Start: Multiple start dates in September.

Requirements:

  • Internet & Workspace: Quality internet service and a private home office space.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills (a test is required). Ability to work with dual monitors and multiple systems.
  • Work Environment: A quiet, uninterrupted setting during work shifts is essential. Noisy environments or multitasking outside of work will not be permitted.
  • Availability: Must be available to work weekends and overtime as required.

Training Hours:

  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST, Monday – Friday.
  • Core Business Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST. Shifts may include one weekend day. Be sure to inquire about specific shift details with your C4 recruiter.

Technology Requirements:

  • Systems Utilized: Cover My Meds, RX Claims, Benefits Editor Tool (BET), Right Fax, WebEx, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
