Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist with overall pharmacy operations concerning the inventory, use, supply, storage, and disposal of investigational drug products. This full-time, office-based position is located in Daytona Beach, FL.

As part of our team, you will work with some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies during a crucial stage of clinical development—establishing the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of new drugs.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will utilize your skills and expertise to provide high-quality care and support in a clinical setting. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining contact with organizations involved in pharmacy supply functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and GMP/GCP.
  • Understanding protocols regarding Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).
  • Assisting the Pharmacist/Study Lead with Sponsor interactions.
  • Supporting the receipt, storage, packaging, disposition, and retention of APIs and IMPs.
  • Helping maintain complete records for API/IMP management.
  • Assisting with dose preparation and the generation of labels.
  • Ensuring the continued supply of stock items.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

You Need to Bring…

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification, per applicable state requirements, or LVN/LPN License.
  • 1-2 years of pharmaceutical experience; direct hospital or long-term care pharmacy technician experience and sterile preparation are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and timelines.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with technology, as data is collected in an electronic environment.

US Pay Range: $16/hour - $20/hour USD
