Position Overview

Maxor National Pharmacy Services seeks a dynamic Pharmacy Manager for JPS Central Fill Pharmacy in Fort Worth, TX. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and customer service skills to manage pharmacy operations efficiently. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee daily functions, staff management, compliance, and patient services while contributing to a high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal pharmacy services, compliance with policies, and legal standards.
  • Supervise and schedule pharmacy staff for all operational hours and locations.
  • Oversee call center operations, ensuring professional and efficient handling of calls.
  • Manage mail-order pharmacy services, focusing on accuracy and compliance.
  • Train staff in technical and customer service skills.
  • Maintain and review drug-therapy guidelines and patient medication records.
  • Provide drug information and counseling for patients and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor drug interactions, contraindications, and therapy appropriateness.
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering and monitoring.
  • Drive employee engagement to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Participate in safety, compliance, and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Current Texas Pharmacist License required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in central fill or mail-order management.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of local, state, federal regulations, and accrediting body standards preferred.
