Role Overview

As a Pharmacovigilance Services Specialist aligned with our Life Sciences R&D vertical, you will support various aspects of the life sciences enterprise, including research laboratories, clinical trials, regulatory services, pharmacovigilance, and patient services. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the Affiliate Mailbox, reconciling reports, and following up on both serious and non-serious cases. You will be responsible for case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, and submissions in accordance with client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and solve moderately complex problems, developing new solutions and adapting existing methods as needed.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management and align with team goals.
  • Primarily interact with your direct supervisor, while also collaborating with peers and management at both client and Accenture levels.
  • Utilize guidance for determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Make decisions that impact your team, and manage small teams or work efforts in client engagements or within Accenture.
  • Be prepared to work in rotational shifts as necessary.
