Role Overview:
As a Pharmacovigilance Services Analyst within our Life Sciences R&D vertical, you will play a critical role in supporting pharmacovigilance operations. Your responsibilities will include managing case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, and submission in compliance with client guidelines and global regulatory requirements. You will handle the Affiliate Mailbox, reconcile reports, and perform written follow-ups for both Serious and Non-serious cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile reports as per established processes.
  • Oversee case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and case processing for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in the safety database.
  • Ensure compliance with client guidelines and global regulatory requirements during case submission and follow-ups.
  • Perform analysis and resolution of lower-complexity problems related to pharmacovigilance.
  • Interact primarily with peers within Accenture, with limited exposure to clients and Accenture management.
  • Follow moderate-level instructions for daily tasks and detailed guidance for new assignments.
  • Make decisions that impact your own work and potentially the work of others within your team.
  • Contribute individually within a team with a focused scope of work.
  • Be prepared to work in rotational shifts as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety surveillance.
  • Proficiency in pharmacovigilance operations including case identification, data entry, and MedDRA coding.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve lower-complexity problems.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with peers and handling documentation.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
