Job Description:
The Pharmacovigilance Physician role at PrimeVigilance provides licensed medical doctors with the opportunity to begin or advance a career in drug safety. The position involves comprehensive medical review of safety reports, literature assessments, and support of global pharmacovigilance functions in collaboration with a multinational team.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Review and approve post-marketing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports from clinical trials

  • Assess seriousness, expectedness, and causality of adverse events, including appropriate coding

  • Write company comments, propose follow-up actions, and perform analysis of similar events

  • Complete supporting documentation such as tracking tools and forms

  • Provide medical support to the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV), particularly when the QPPV is not medically qualified

  • Contribute to periodic safety reports with medical insights

  • Review literature screening strategies and articles for relevant ICSRs, SAEs, or other safety concerns


Qualifications:

  • MD (Medical Doctor) qualification is required

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize

  • Collaborative approach with effective cross-cultural communication and teamwork

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
