Manager, Pharmacovigilance (Budgets & Proposals)

We are seeking a Manager, Pharmacovigilance to join our diverse and collaborative team. In this role, you will lead pharmacovigilance efforts, ensuring the safety and efficacy of clinical trial products throughout their lifecycle. You will oversee a skilled team, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety and excellence across the organization.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading Safety Activities: Direct the pharmacovigilance team in collecting, evaluating, and reporting adverse events while adhering to regulatory guidelines and internal standards.
  • Developing Processes: Create and implement pharmacovigilance policies and workflows to optimize safety monitoring efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to perform thorough safety assessments and timely reporting.
  • Providing Training: Offer guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on pharmacovigilance regulations and best practices.
  • Analyzing Safety Data: Monitor and evaluate safety trends, prepare risk assessments, and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Maintain alignment with global regulatory requirements and internal quality benchmarks in all pharmacovigilance activities.

Your Profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Extensive experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety management, including team leadership and knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical capabilities for safety data review and regulatory reporting.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills for managing multiple projects.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding the highest safety and quality standards.
