Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (On-Call Required)

Position Overview:

The Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services related to chronic and traditional acute infusion therapies. This includes sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring activities while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services prescribed by physicians or authorized medical personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel to ensure compliance in all operational areas.

  • Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing, intake/admissions, reimbursement, sales, and marketing to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Support Soleo’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in the orientation and training of new pharmacy staff and act as a preceptor for pharmacy interns as needed.

  • Serve as a clinical resource for Sales and Marketing teams and assist with customer presentations and clinical reviews.

  • Support company procurement and inventory control procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with insurance authorization procedures and assist with insurance audit documentation.

  • Participate in pharmacy on-call rotation to provide continuous pharmacy support services.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records, including those required for state and federal controlled substances reporting.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a specialty home infusion company or hospital setting with primary responsibilities in an IV room.

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or RPh with relevant clinical experience.

  • Active, applicable state pharmacy license.

  • Efficiency in CPR+/Care Tend preferred.

  • Strong clinical and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
