Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Pharmacist to join our subsidiary company Ramunėlė Vaistinė located in Simnas, Alytus district. This pharmacy chain includes both retail and compounding pharmacies that prepare medications tailored to individual patient prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise patients on proper drug use, storage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Monitor drug therapy safety and effectiveness using a computerized medication profile system.
Participate in the inspection, stocking, storage, dispensing, and administration of medications in the patient care area.
Required Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist.
Proficiency in English.
Computer literacy.
Solid knowledge of prescription and non-prescription drugs, including:
Indications, efficacy, dosage, mechanisms of action, contraindications, and potential side effects.
Understanding of how age, sex, comorbidities, concurrent therapies, and foods impact drug activity.
Ability to counsel patients effectively on medication usage, risks, and storage.
Background knowledge in physiology, anatomy, pathology, chemistry, and mathematics relevant to pharmacy practice.
