Position Overview:
We are hiring a Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager to join our subsidiary company Ramunėlė Vaistinė in Šiauliai. This chain combines retail and compounding pharmacies, formulating medications tailored to individual prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patients with detailed guidance on medication usage, storage, interactions, and potential side effects.
Monitor drug therapy safety and effectiveness through maintenance of medication profiles in a computerized system.
Oversee and participate in the inspection, stocking, preparation, dispensing, and administration of medications.
Required Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist
Proficient English language skills
Computer literacy
Solid understanding of:
Prescription and over-the-counter drugs (indications, efficacy, dosage, contraindications, side effects, mechanisms of action)
How factors like age, sex, disease states, concurrent medications, and food interactions affect drug performance
Strong patient counseling skills
Knowledge of relevant scientific principles in physiology, anatomy, pathology, chemistry, and mathematics
