Position Summary:
As a Pharmacist at Wellscript, you will play a critical role in providing patient care by preparing medications and offering pharmacological guidance to multidisciplinary healthcare teams. You will be responsible for monitoring patient drug therapies, managing the workflow of pharmacy technicians, and ensuring the accuracy of pharmaceutical preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Prepare medications, provide drug therapy information, and monitor drug therapies.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Supervise pharmacy technicians, verify medication preparations, and ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal drug laws, manage controlled substances, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional care and service to patients and healthcare teams, ensuring accurate pharmaceutical delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years in a pharmacy setting, with preference for experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Infusion Pharmacy.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid California Pharmacist License required.
