About the Role:
As a Patient Services Intake Manager at Baxter, you will lead cross-functional teams responsible for patient interaction, intake processes, and verification of third-party payer order requirements. Your work ensures compliance and high-quality service within Baxter’s Respiratory Health segment, directly impacting lives and improving patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit, manage, train, develop, and coach team members across multiple intake functions.

  • Develop and implement short and long-term strategies to enhance efficiency and improve patient and customer satisfaction.

  • Establish departmental goals, service level agreements, and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Design and manage call center quality programs to maintain high customer service standards.

  • Ensure regulatory and payer compliance through documentation and team-specific instructions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, etc.) to continuously refine procedures.


Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree completed or currently pursuing in a healthcare-related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience, including leadership of large teams.

  • Minimum 3+ years of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) industry experience (preferred).

  • Strong supervisory, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer processes (preferred).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with CRM and third-party billing systems (preferred).

  • Project management and continuous improvement experience is a plus.


Workplace Details:

  • Hybrid work structure with a minimum number of required in-office days at the St. Paul, MN office.

Compensation:
Estimated Base Salary Range: $96,000 - $132,000 annually
Eligible for discretionary bonuses
Compensation will vary depending on location, experience, and skills.
