Job Description:

Fortrea, one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations globally, is seeking an OPV (Outpatient Visit) Research Technician to support the practical and administrative execution of clinical trials in Clinical Pharmacology, in accordance with protocols and regulatory standards.

This is a full-time, office-based position in Dallas, TX, requiring rotating shifts and some weekends.


What You Will Do:

You’ll provide clinical care and support to study participants while gaining exposure to cutting-edge medical technologies and treatments in early-phase clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vital signs and venipuncture

  • Record ECGs/Holters

  • Collect and process biological samples

  • Monitor dietary compliance

  • Prepare rooms and medical equipment

  • Assist with screening and study procedures

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment

  • Foster respectful relationships with participants

  • Record and QC research data

  • Ensure confidentiality and respond to participant queries

  • Perform other related duties as needed


Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

    Fortrea may consider equivalent relevant experience in lieu of formal education.

  • Certifications Preferred:

    • EMT

    • Phlebotomy

    • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant)

    • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

  • Experience:

    • 0–1 year of clinical research experience

    • Clinical experience preferred but not required

    • Recent graduates welcome to apply

  • Able to prioritize and adapt quickly

  • Strong teamwork and people skills

  • Familiarity with electronic data collection systems
