Job Overview:

Sun Oncology is building a best-in-class commercial team of ethical, passionate professionals. As the Oncology Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, managing promotional tactics, and ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Marketing – Oncology, this role plays a critical part in shaping the success of Sun’s oncology portfolio in a competitive U.S. market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution for congress events and promotional materials.

  • Manage the Promotional Speaker Program, including speaker training and communications.

  • Oversee brand website content, design, and updates aligned with strategy.

  • Support development and execution of marketing materials and sampling programs.

  • Coordinate internal review processes (medical/regulatory/legal) for promotional content.

  • Contribute to POA (Plan of Action) meetings and annual brand planning deliverables.

  • Maintain brand budget, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure ROI.

  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional partners (Sales, Market Access, Medical, etc.).

  • Track program success via KPIs and share insights across the organization.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide brand strategy.

  • Identify and leverage innovative trends and digital platforms for marketing success.

  • Ensure brand meets or exceeds revenue and unit forecast goals.

  • Travel for conferences, field rides, and business activities as required.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales or marketing experience.

  • Brand marketing experience including digital marketing; sales experience is a plus.

  • Oncology experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Strong capabilities in brand strategy, project management, and scientific data analysis.

  • Demonstrated success in budget management, launch planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and preferred experience with Adobe Suite, AEM, AA, Marketo, and AI/ChatGPT tools.
